Films are great, right? But what's better than films, or film award ceremonies? Getting drunk with film award ceremonies, that's what.

What better way to spend a Sunday night than to don a tux and rustle up some cocktails with the BAFTAs (on the BBC from 7pm). And if you really want to get into the BAFTA spirit, then make sure you definitely rustle up the Disaronno BAFTA Originale, the official drink of the awards.


Disaronno BAFTA originale
-        30ml DISARONNO
-        15ml fresh lemon juice
-        15ml Monin pomegranate
-        Top with soda
-        Bitters 

Combine the DISARONNO, fresh lemon juice, Monin pomegranate syrup and bitters in a cocktail shaker, add ice and shake. Pour the mixture into an elegant flute and top with soda. Garnish with whole pomegranate seeds and gold leaf for an extra burst of flavour and added sparkle.
02 Sailor’s Nightcap

SJ nightcap
-        50ml Sailor Jerry
-        180ml semi skimmed milk
-        30ml Nui Nui syrup **

Chuck 50ml of Sailor Jerry, 180ml of semi skimmed milk and 30ml of the Nui Nui syrup into a pan until it bubbles and serve in a mug. Add a cinnamon stick to stir and more grated nutmeg and cinnamon for more spice.

** To make the spiced Nui Nui syrup: It’s simple: Heat some sugar syrup (we recommend Monin) with generous pinches of ground cloves, allspice, nutmeg and cinnamon until steaming and then pass through a sieve until smooth.
03 Rémy Sidecar

Remy sidecar
-          50ml  Rémy Martin VSOP Mature Cask Finish
-          25ml  Cointreau
-          20ml lemon juice

Shake all the ingredients with ice and strain into a chilled martini glass. Garnish with an orange peel
04 French Mojito

Remy mojito
-          50ml Rémy Martin VSOP Mature Cask Finish
-          25ml Fresh Lime Juice
-          1 tbsp brown sugar
-          7 to 10 mint leaves
-          3 oz. Soda water

Place mint leaves in the glass, add crushed ice, Rémy Martin VSOP, sugar, and lime juice, and muddle. Topped with sparkling water and garnish with mint leaves
05 Cointreau Fizz

Cointreau cocktail
-          35ml Cointreau
-          Top-up with Soda
-          Juice of 1/2 lime

In a highball, add ice, add Cointreau and top-up with Soda. Garnish withlime and ribbons of cucumber for an even more refreshing drink
