This February sees the launch of the Spring/Summer 2013 range from Nicholas Deakins. The brand has developed the country and terrace styles from its 22 year history and has evolved to incorporate nautical touches and other uniquely British elements.
Following last season's great work with Harris Tweed, this season also includes a collaboration with The British Millerain Co. With this, Nicholas Deakins continues to showcase it’s British history, working with the country’s most renowned manufacturers.
The colour palette of the SS13 season takes inspiration from the North of England ,which Nicholas Deakins calls home - earthy bases with splashes of colour and striped fabrics to bring a maritime touch to some pieces.
Nicholas Deakins’ footwear also takes on board these nautical inspirations with their own interpretation of the classic boat shoe – just one part of an extensive line of premium styles this season.
The Familia Jacket is the biggest highlight, constructed from British Millerain waxed cotton and finished with the manufacturer’s iconic branding. Clean and simple with concealed chest pockets and statement horn-styled buttons, this is the jacket you'll want to invest in this year.
Nicholas Deakins continues to evolve whilst holding true to the styles on which the brand has built its name. Spring/Summer 2013 will be available in stores mid-February. Keep an eye out on the Nicholas Deakins website.
