Every year, lots of new games are unveiled at E3. Here’s details on what we’re wetting our pants about this time around...

Catwoman is playable in Arkham City

Batman not quite sexy enough for your tastes? Understandable. He doesn’t do it for us either. His voice is a bit gravelly. We much prefer Catwoman, which is convenient, because she’s a playable character in Arkham City, the sequel to Arkham Asylum. Mee-yow.

Hitman: Absolution has a pretty trailer now

“Betrayed by those he once trusted, and hunted by the police, [Agent 47] suddenly finds himself at the center of a dark conspiracy and must embark on a journey through a corrupt and twisted world.” Isn’t that the same as all the other Hitman titles? Eidos are jazzing up gameplay with increased stealth and disguise elements, and a lot more improvised weapons. We're officially buzzed about this.

Lara Croft is back

The Tomb Raider returns in another climb-‘em-up. Exciting stuff, and Tomb Raider games are always lots of fun – but it’s the same fun we’ve been having for years. Let’s hope the trailer delivers on its gritty, gritty promises.

Halo 4 is coming out

Hooray! Just when we were worried that Microsoft would stop milking their tremendously profitable cash cow, they release another Halo game starring an old character. Wizard. For all our complaining, it’ll still be a great game, though. They always are. Humph.

BONUS VIDEO: People look stupid playing on the Kinect

That’s hard news for you there. You didn’t know that already. Anyway, here’s some footage of a man looking stupid whilst trying to pilot Obi-Wan Kenobi (we think) around a level on an up-and-coming Star Wars Kinect title. Smooth moves.

More tomorrow!
