A couple of weeks ago we told you that the Darren Anderton of The X Factor (Kelly Rowland) had made a video featuring an elephant. This was exciting news. We love elephants. And it was an African elephant, for heaven’s sake. They’re our favourites - wait, is that racist?

But now we bring you the news that Croydon dubstep monster Skream has made a video called Anticipate, featuring a dancing robot, and left us in a mighty quandary:

Elephant or Robot?

In the elephant corner:

Elephants are great. They’re like little walking houses with long floppy chimneys that spray water in an infinitely amusing fashion and they NEVER forget anything. Plus, because they’re so BADASS, no other animals can predatorise them up. If you get an elephant in animal top trumps, you’re home and dry.

In the robot corner:

Unlike elephants, robots are a bit more up and down. For every Johnny 5 there’s a Marvin the Paranoid Android; for every R2-D2 there’s a Transformer that transforms into something lame like an ice cream stall that doesn’t have any ice cream. But still, the robot in Anticipate is pretty solid, and he’s dancing.

The judge's verdict:

ELEPHANTS AND DANCING ROBOTS ARE BOTH EXCELLENT. WELL DONE ELEPHANTS AND DANCING ROBOTS.
