New Balance have released an updated version of their iconic 577 shoe: The 577OOK Made In England trainer. It comes in two, ace new colourways: really nice red and really nice orange (not their official titles)…
What they are: Statement casual trainers. These suede/mesh kicks also come with a shock-absorbing sole, so they're extra comfortable and have all the practicality of a runner.
Where they were made: In the English New Balance factory in Flimby, Cumbria. To show a bit of pride, the tongue tag has got the Union Jack on it. All together now: "God Save Our…"
Where to wear them: Wherever you want. These are really versatile.
What to wear them with: If you want to go loud, mix these kicks with a bright, printed tee or shirt. To really make them pop, keep the rest of what you're wearing simple and muted. Just don't go all red or you'll basically be a Teletubby.
How much they are: £100 from the Togs & Clogs website.
