What is it?
Kicking off a season of screenings this summer, Smirnoff Black are showing Alfie (the 1966 original, not the rubbish one with Jude Law) on Wednesday July 15 at Chelsea's Bluebird cafe as part of it's Modern Gentleman promotion. All the films feature a famous leading man, but we're a little suprised at the absence of a certain Mr Ron Burgundy. Still, there's always Tom Cruise right? Right?
Why should I go?
Well for one it's not bad value- a ticket is £25, which includes the movie, a two course meal and a cocktail - try doing that anywhere else in London. And secondly, it's not often that you'll get to see these movies on the big screen anymore. The Dark Knight especially is a tempting proposition.
