With a mercifully short week (thanks, Easter!) now coming to an end, Leo Davie from The Coolector takes a look at which gadgets and bits of awesomeness have caught his eye this week:

01  Fujifilm Instax Printer

If you lament your inability to print out the blurry, Instagram-ised photos that you take on your smartphone then you’re in luck because the chaps at Fujifilm have got you covered in all their glossy glory.

02  R2-D2 Measuring Set

Let’s face it, traditionally speaking, measuring sets aren’t really the most manly pieces of kit. Even if you’re seriously into your ManFood. A measuring set that looks like the world’s most famous robot on the other hand is manly. Or at least nerdy. Both of which get the nod of approval from us.

03  Lytro Illum Camera

A camera that captures the full depth of light fields might go completely over your head but what it basically means is that you can edit the depth, angle and various other features  you didn’t know existed in photos. Which still goes completely over our heads, but it looks like a freaking spycam and that’s awesome.

Pre-Order: Lytro

04  Morgan 8 Speedster

Your Vauxhall Corsa not quite cutting the mustard anymore? Well, time for an upgrade. An upgrade that looks like you’ve travelled back in time. Only instead of being a clapped out tin wagon it’s a mini beast that can do 0-60 in 4 seconds. And make you look like a time traveller. Shame that it costs more than the moon though.

05  Breeze App

Want an exercise app that’s a little less strenuous than the usual ‘run-until-your-bollocks-fall-off’ types? But that will still get you reasonably fit? Check out Breeze which, as its name suggests, makes life easier. Breezy, even. Aimed towards the walker it’ll keep track of the number of steps you take, set you targets and give you encouragement to make you feel fuzzy inside.
