Harry Styles is like God.
He’s everywhere. He’s on cinema screens in One Direction doc This Is Us, his voice can be heard on the radio, and his mug is in magazines, on billboards, on your TV, and possibly in your girlfriend’s most-sordid dreams. So is it time for us to become more like him?
With Heat magazine’s help, we gave one willing volunteer the 1D treatment – then asked a load of girls what they thought…

Heat: “First up, perfect that unkempt bed hair. It may look au naturel, but on 1D’s last tour Harry got through 20 pots of Fudge hair wax. To get his curls, you’ll need some curling tongs. Sorry.”
Beth, 21, Cheltenham: “I’m not a fan of scruffy facial hair. I much prefer the preppy look he’s got going on in the after shot.”
Heat: “Tattoos you’ll regret almost immediately are a must. For reasons only Harry knows, he’s got Ice Gems, coat hangers and the word ‘Hi’ on him.”
Aina, 20, Norway: “They’re not my thing. They look like a three-year-old has drawn them. I hope they’re not real.”
Heat: “Harry doesn’t shy away from a plunging V-neck or loose vest. If you’ve spent more time drinking in the park than working out at the gym, a lumberjack shirt will suffice.”
Anne Louise, 18, Denmark: “His clothes make a huge difference. He looks great.”
Heat: “Fancy footwear is key. Haz was once all about All Saints military lace-up boots, but now he keeps it casual in crisp white Converse.”
Ashley, 18, Croydon: “His old shoes are just awful. I’m wearing Converse now, so we’d have that as an ice-breaker.”
Heat: “Success lies in the final touches. Layer up silver chains and friendship bracelets, and wear Ray-Ban Wayfarers come rain or shine.”
Carlota, 20, Spain: “I like the vibe of the bracelets, but he’s got more necklaces on than I have. I think that’s a bit girlie.”
THE GIRLS' FINAL VERDICT
We asked: Would you be more likely to sex Jemal before or after his Harry Styles makeover? And it was an overwhelming yes for the new look.
