Upholding their reputation as one of the best independent streetwear labels in the UK, Second Son have released a new series of excellent graphic tees for Spring. The London-based label was born out out of the legendary (and now sadly defunct) Soho boutique Bond a few years back, where designer Will Kemp - one quarter of the Second Son team - was once an employee. Nowadays, Second Son not only puts out high quality t-shirts, but also perfectly cut sweatshirts, jeans, shirts and hats.

For their first drop of 2011, Second Son have clearly put a little more thought into the design process than the hordes of bandwagon-jumping brands in the streetwear ether. The collection not only features the design talents of the inhouse team, but also those of British artists Mark Ward and Mergs. This is the first release from Second Son for quite a while, but it’s clearly been worth the wait - the ‘Cats be Tripping’ is one of the past t-shirts we’ve seen in the past year (and we’ve seen a lot of t-shirts).
