Californian veteran adult film director, Mike Quasar gives us the skinny on what’s really going on in the world of erotic entertainment.

Eastern Europeans do it better
“This one’s true. We used to make a lot of trips to the Czech Republic because the actresses are phenomenally beautiful. But they’re pure business. One minute they’re rolling their eyes screaming “Ya, ees so big!” then the moment the shoot’s over they’re not interested in even having a conversation. More power to ‘em, I say!”

Porn is full of scum bags
“Mostly, people in the business are great. Apart from the agents, who are absolute human scum. Vermin, parasite, pimping pieces of utter human waste. There are more than a couple of girls in this business who have really obvious drug problems. And if I was their agent I’d stop sending them out on jobs and get them help. But they don’t care. They’re human traffickers. And I do everything in my power not to use them.”

There’s no money anymore
“There is money - but only big money at the highest level. The internet companies who stole everyone’s content and gave it away for free are now the guys with the cash. And when they shoot their own premium content they pay thousands of dollars to actors. It’s a joke. Like someone going into General Motors, stealing all the cars, giving them away for free, and then saying ‘hey if you want a really good car you have to come to us’.”

It’s badly administrated
“Paperwork is my life! Guys like me are constantly copying and faxing documents to make sure everyone who acts is of legal age, cleared to work and free of diseases. But that’s not the case for a lot of the stuff that ends up on the free sites. As far as I can tell not one of the guys behind it has the records to make sure everyone’s of age. People just want to see the most degrading acts possible on camera. They really don’t care what happened to that person afterwards. They just dropped a load into a tissue and are now going to go back to their job. It’s awful.”
