Whether you know it or not, today's the biggest marijuana holiday on the planet, as stoners and casual pot smokers celebrate 4/20, the annual culmination of a marijuana cultural phenomenon that usually leads to lots of laughs and plenty of munchies.
But, what you might not know, is the actual origin behind the holiday, wondering to yourself why this cult-celebrated "holiday" is recognized around the world as the day for weed.
Like other pieces we've done on the drug, we reached out to some of the leading cannabis industry experts to get to the bottom of this once and for all, letting them explain why everyone's going to be up in smoke all day—or, at the very least, a small part of the day.
