Beer Is A More Effective Pain Killer Than Tylenol (Per The Best Study Ever)

Alright, in all fairness, we don't entirely care about the accuracy of this study. Once we saw beer associated with something positive, we pretty much decided we were going to believe it no matter way. Now, we don't recommend doing this with every study you see on your Facebook page! Given the amount of #FakeNews out there nowadays — you'll either end up dead or, if you're lucky, you'll live forever. There's really no happy medium in modern journalism! Sorry about it, guys.

Basically, we'd either be super-malnourished because everything is bad to eat, or we'd be creepy dudes staring at boobs all the time, because apparently that's the secret to a long life. Sort of a convenient theory for men, if you ask us, but we won't complain. It's all in the name of science! And, unlike so many idiots, we don't think that science, in 2018, should ever have to defend themselves. They've proven enough, don't you think?

According to Tuscon News Now:

"Researchers at Greenwich University in the U.K. say they discovered strong evidence that alcohol is an effective painkiller. They also concluded the more beer people drank, the less pain they felt. 'It can be compared to opioid drugs such as codeine and the effect is more powerful than paracetamol (generic Tylenol),' said Trevor Thompson an author of the study published in The Journal of Pain.

"The study compared 18 different controlled experiments that involved 404 people. They found that a blood alcohol content of .08, about three or four regular drinks, can reduce pain by up to 25 percent. It also increased pain tolerance a little. This would explain why so many people who have chronic pain self-medicate with alcohol, Thompson said."

We two questions, does this mean when you're hungover that drinking beer is more effective than taking Tylenol? Also, this is most likely a really bad idea in the long run — you've seen the stats now, decide for yourself. Let us know how it goes! We take no responsibility for anything bad that should happen all because you just wanted to get rid of your headache.
