These UFC Knockouts Are Some Of The Most Brutal And Violent Of All Time — So, Hey, Let's Watch Them

You have no idea how proud we are to live in a world that allows people to kick the crap out of each other as an official sport. And now with the upcoming UFC fight between Conor McGregor and Floyd Mayweather on everyone's minds, we figured now was the best time to tip our hats to the sport and show our appreciation for giving us 23 years of brutal, bloody knockouts.

We did a little digging deep into UFC's archives to find the gnarliest knockouts that seriously still leaves us speechless today, and we rounded them all up in the video below. We're talking about broken bones to apocalyptic kicks that look like something straight out of Street Fighter, so if you're squeamish about that sort of thing, you probably shouldn't watch the clips.

After watching the video, you're probably wondering if UFC has ever been in trouble for the serious physical injuries that happen to their players. As much as fans love watching the blood and the knockouts, what happens to defeated players after they're no longer a meme is a lot less fun. Anderson Silva, who broke his leg in UFC 168, definitely wasn't laughing at all those GIFs made at his expense.

"When I realized my leg was broken, I thought my career was over," he said in 2014. "You might think that depression is not something serious, but I was depressed. I was very upset, and if I didn't have the people that I have by my side, maybe I wouldn't come back."

Although it took two years of rehabilitation, Anderson is back fighting. As for UFC, due to the popularity of MMA sports, there'll probably be many more broken bones in the future.
