Linkin Park lead singer, Chester Bennington ended his long time battle with depression on Tuesday, June 20, 2017 after committing suicide. He was 41 years old and is survived by his wife and 6 beautiful children. The loss of Bennington has, and continues to leave fans and loved ones all over the world in a state of mourning and grief. His electric presence was a staple in the music industry for over 20 years.

Songs like "Numb" and "In The End" have become bona fide anthems for fans looking to express their emotions — many of which are the same dark emotions Chester had felt his entire life. He was a beacon of hope and he is sorely missed.

It's important to honor his life and legacy by remembering his kind spirit and light-hearted nature. That's why when Linkin Park decided to share this video of Bennington's Carpool Karaoke episode on their Facebook page, we felt it necessary to show y'all in solidarity. It'll most definitely bring a smile to your face, especially if you're a fan.

P.S. They bust out some classic Linkin Park jams and it's uh-mazing...

As the opening credits stated, this episode was filmed only 6 days before Bennington's suicide. Please let this be a reminder that people suffering and struggling with depression are not always locked away with their dark sorrows. Often times they are out and about living their lives while smiling and laughing through deep pain.

If you or anyone you know is suicidal, please call the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline, 1-800-273-8255. It gets better.
