I don't know about you, but, personally speaking, I'm absolutely stoked that the college football season is officially underway, with a bevy of teams — including my Ohio State Buckeyes — already kicking off their season in the past few days, with a heavy slate of games to come this weekend.
Let that sink in for a second, fellas...
OK, now that we have your undivided attention and your fanaticism is absolutely pumping through your blood, how about we just give you something else that'll make you happily welcome back the next college football campaign — an absolutely insane, one-handed touchdown grab by New Mexico State wide receiver Jaleel Scott!
Guys, I know that the whole one-handed catch thing has become a popular trend over the years, with New York Giants wideout Odell Beckham Jr. pretty much ripping balls out of thin air as if they were nothing at all, but, c'mon now, this catch that Scott does is F'in incredible. And, to make it even sweeter, it goes for six, which is always a little bit of a cherry on top of the insanity of a one-handed snag.
Unfortunately for Scott and his New Mexico State teammates, the points didn't help the overall outcome, as he and his Aggies fell to Arizona State by a score of 37-31. Still, kudos to the kid for already making my list of top-10 plays of the season — with a real strong chance of staying there all season long.
Anyway, college football is officially back, I'm giddy as all hell about it and, more importantly, I've got no plans this weekend other than refilling my kegerator with a bunch of beer and sitting around consuming said beer while watching college football with buddies. America is a great F'in country, isn't it?!?
