If we were to base our impression of Emilia Clarke purely on her roles in HBO's Game Of Thrones or movies like Terminator Genisys, we'd have no choice but to think of her as someone who just goes out there and kicks ass on a daily basis. Although many people only know Emilia Clarke from Game of Thrones, thankfully, she's had the opportunity to play a number of different types of characters throughout her acting career — although they're not the first ones that come to mind when thinking of her.
To prove that there's more to Emilia than just Game of Thrones, we've pulled together the definitive guide to all of Emilia Clarke movies, with the actor's comments on most of them. Born Emilia Isabelle Euphemia Rose Clarke on October 23, 1986 in England, she'll next be seen in 2018's Solo: A Star Wars Story, the film about the young Han Solo that should elevate her already-rising star even higher.
After falling No. 8 on our "Sexiest Woman Alive" list last year, it's clear we adore the sensational Emilia Clarke, so here's to even more big things to come!

Game Of Thrones (2011-17)
On the HBO sensation, she does, of course, plays Queen Of Dragons Daenerys Targaryen, and as she told Rolling Stone she finds the power of this woman to be inspiring, pointing out that throughout history "women have been great rulers. And then for that to be a character that I'm known to play? That's so [f'n] lucky. Anyone who seems to think that it's not needed need only look at the political environment we're all living in to be, like, 'Oh, no, it's needed. It is needed."
Terminator Genisys (2015)
This was an attempted reboot of the franchise by playing with the timeline. As things unfold, when John Connor, leader of the human resistance, sends Sgt. Kyle Reese back to 1984 to protect Sarah Connor and safeguard the future, an unexpected turn of events creates a fractured timeline. The film also saw Arnold Schwarzenegger as a very different Terminator, this time protecting Sarah Connor rather than trying to kill her. "Arnold is the first thing that comes to mind when you say 'Terminator,' and you can't do it without him," Emilia muses. "Probably what I love the most about this script is the relationship between the Guardian and Sarah. It's the heart. It's beautiful. We get to see his character in this whole other gorgeous light. Watching her all this time has kind of softened him — except, of course, when people have tried to kill her. That hasn't softened him at all!"
Me Before You (2016)
Emilia plays Louisa Clark, someone who does whatever she has to job wise to get money to help her family. Her life is changed, however, when she becomes the caretaker of paralyzed banker Will Traynor (Sam Claflin), who she develops a deep bond with. Notes Emilia, "What drew me to this movie were the words of Jojo Moyes, the book first and then the script. I was hooked on page one and so excited to play a character with such charm and sincerity, who is so authentically and brilliantly British, and with such a lovely arc in her story."
Voice From The Stone (2017)
In what Google describes as a "haunting and suspenseful" story, Emilia portrays a nurse in 1950s Tuscany named Verena, who is drawn to a young boy who has fallen silent since the sudden passing of his mother. Once more, it was the script that drew her in. "It's written almost poetically," she says. "In the way that we filmed it, especially, there's a lot that the audience can read into it. There's many different ways you can take. It's rather gorgeous and special."
