Ever since we all saw Marty McFly riding around on his hoverboard in the movie Back to the Future 2, we've wondered if and/or when someone really smart would be able to develop the necessary parts to make such a toy a reality.

While we've seen a few variations of them, we finally have something that isn't just a board with a wheel or small motor on it.

Guys, meet the Hoversurf Scorpion-3, a human-carrying drone that uses propellers to soar through the air like a f*cking renegade!

According to Hoversurf's company's website, here's how it's described.

"It’s a unique electric-powered vessel combining a motorcycle seat with quadcopter drone technology bringing speed agility and stability of flight to the hands of amateur and professional navigators," explains Hoversurf's website.

Resembling a supercross bike, the Hoversurf Scorpion-3 is a single-seat aircraft that uses a hi-tech quadcopter-based solution, giving the user ultimate speed, agility and stability to navigate through the air. As the company proclaims, it's currently seen only as an "extreme sports instrument, yet the vessel’s transportation potential remains evident."

So, in other words, we may all have the chance to use one to get around the neighborhood in the not-so-distant future. Awesome!
