Tomorrow's the day sports fans have been waiting for, as boxing legend Floyd Mayweather Jr. takes on UFC superstar Conor McGregor in one of the most anticipated bouts in a long, long time. And, while the war of words have been going on for years between the two fighters — and will, presumably, continue up until they walk into the boxing ring tomorrow evening — there are a few things that might distract spectators from the whole pre-fight production.
One of those things? How about Tawny Jordan, who's a gorgeous brunette model that'll be working the fight as one of the Ring Girls, waltzing around in there to remind us what round it is and, generally speaking, keeping things hot.
Tawny, who hails from Peoria, Illinois, isn't new to working as a Ring Girl, but, according to The Sun, even she was a bit stunned by the opportunity to work the biggest boxing fight in recent memory:
“I was like in shock, because I definitely wanted to go to the fight.
"I’m more excited than nervous. I’ve been in the ring several times. I love getting up there and just doing it. It’s really cool to be one of the four.”
"I don’t really like to compare everything I’ve done ... but I think this one is going to be part of history,” Jordan said. “The hype is real. The fight is going to be really good."
The Illinois-born ring girl added: “I feel like my kids one day will hear about this. It’s really cool to be part of it.”
So, yeah, to say that this is a big deal might just be a bit of an understatement. Something tells us that Tawny Jordan will handle things just perfectly.
Tawny will be one of the four "Corona Girls" working the event, with TMZ saying she'll share the duties with three other beauties: Kyra Keli, Jessica Harbour, and Samantha Kumiko.
Back to Tawny Jordan, though, who said that it was a strange twist of luck that she even got into modeling after a photographer approached her about posing for photos, telling the PJ Star:
“It wasn’t with the intention to start modeling,” Jordan said. “It was just to get some photos.”
"“It was kind of like a tryout for me to go into this Corona Girl job,” Jordan said. “I didn’t know it was going to turn into me doing it for years.”
We're not sure who this photog was, but, props on being able to spot such a talent, because, no matter what happens in the ring between Conor McGregor and Floyd Mayweather tomorrow night, Tawny Jordan will absolutely be the knockout fans will see.
