Mayweather vs. McGregor Fight Tickets Aren't Just Limited, But They'll Cost You A Couple Month's Rent

I don't like boxing. I figured I'd make that explicitly clear before we move forward. It's not that I don't like sports or live sporting events, I do—very much so. I just have a thing about people getting hit in the face, specifically. You want to punch a guy in the balls repeatedly? Sure, I can watch that. Just not the face, please.

So, now that I've explained myself, it won't exactly shock you that I find the ticket prices for the Floyd Mayweather vs. Conor McGregor fight ridiculous. I mean, I get it. These are some seriously high-profile athletes and fans having been waiting for umpteen-f'ing-years for this fight to happen, but do ya gotta bankrupt people in order for them to go?

Alright, maybe I'm being a litttle dramatic because of my bias. According to Bleacher Report—"Leonard Ellerbe, the CEO of Mayweather Promotions, said tickets will range from $500 to $10,000 for Floyd Mayweather Jr.'s return to the boxing ring against Conor McGregor."

The $500 are SORT OF reasonable, BUT I give you Exhibit A:

Ultimately, they're going to make it super difficult for people to see this fight at a reasonable cost. I don't know why and I certainly don't agree with it, but that's just how the cookie crumbles! Good news is, you have a little over a month to save. I suspect if you forgo eating or really spending any money at all, you'll have enough by then.
