A couple of months back, we told you about the scary bear attack that a Montana man was able to live through, as he posted a video onto Facebook documenting the results of being mauled by a grizzly bear.
While the man, named Todd Orr, is lucky to be alive, he may have done exactly what he was supposed to do to fend off an attacking bear. And while we hope none of you are in a similar situation as Orr found himself in, we at least want to provide some insight as to what you should do if a bear comes for you.
That's why this video will help, so pay close attention.
The video comes from last night's episode of The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, with the host talking to a man named Jeff Watson—appropriately nicknamed "The Bear Man."
Watson, who is currently raising two bears himself, a grizzly and a black bear, knows a thing or two about this type of stuff, as he once put his head into a bear mouth in front of Muhammad Ali back in the day.
We wouldn't advise doing something like that, but Watson seems to be the go-to expert when it comes to advice on actually walking away if a bear mauls you.
