Say No(ir) To Stains: How To Remove Red Wine From Clothing

Pinot Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Malbec, Shiraz,—what do all these beverages have in common aside from being absolutely delicious? They'll ruin your clothes, that's what!

Well, at least that's what we thought until we came upon these nifty little steps from Real Simple for removing red wine stains from clothing.

My hope is that you guys aren't pounding red wine to the point that you're likely (read: drunk enough) to spill it all over yourself, but accidents do happen and it's nice to be prepared! Of course, these steps come most in handy when you're drinking at home versus at a restaurant or idk, the bathroom at work, but nowhere in the instructions does it mention that it needs to be handled immediately. I'd say within a few hours is a-okay. Obviously if you let the stain sit for a week then you have no business complaining that it's ruined.

If you never drink red wine or handle your own stains, then at least consider using this information to impress women. I can't speak for ladies everywhere but if I ended up wearing a glass of Pinot all over my blouse (which happens often) I'd be damn impressed by a man who knew how to take care of it!
