If You Drink Lots Of Coffee, Science Says You Get Better Erections

Most of us rely on a morning coffee to wake us up and knock off the overnight rust, but, thanks to research from the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston, it appears that a cup of Joe does more than just energize your mind—it sends a spark to your penis, too!

According to the study, men who consumed two to three cups of coffee per day, or an equivalent to the same amount of caffeine, were less likely to experience erectile dysfunction—so go get yourself some Starbucks and reap the rewards in the bedroom!

The results of a study published recently in PLOS ONE found that men who consumed between 85 and 170 milligrams of caffeine a day were 42 percent less likely to report ED, while those who drank between 171 and 303 milligrams of caffeine a day were 39 percent less likely to report ED compared to those who drank zero to seven milligrams a day. This trend was also true among overweight, obese and hypertensive men.

Dr. Run Wang, one of the researchers of the study, says that coffee has a similar side effect of ED drugs like Viagra, which produces increased blood flow to your man part and leaving your penis feeling like its own version of Stonehenge.

So, if you're struggling to get and/or keep an erection, try drinking more coffee each day, because your penis will enjoy the added boost—because science says so.
