In fairness, I'm a pretty big fan of The Biebs. Sure, he's sort of a little sh-t, but there's just something appealing about him. I'm not certain, but it might have to do with his catchy music being played on the radio ad nauseam and the way he looks in Calvin Klein briefs — just speculating though. Anyway, fan or no fan, I've gotta say...the dude is an idiot sometimes! He's easily one of the most recognizable faces on the planet, the man has 90.7 million Instagram followers for chrissake! You'd think given his fame he'd refrain from messaging random fitness establishments on a whim because he sees a cute girl. Well, apparently not. According to Yahoo —
Jessica Gober, a 22-year-old from Savannah, Georgia, claimed that the singer messaged the gym where she works after they posted a Boomerang of her promoting an energy drink on their Instagram. 'Who is that girl ? In ur latest post,' Bieber wrote, adding a heart emoji, according to Gober’s screenshot of the message."
Did this actually just happen... lmao— Jessi (@jessicagober) August 9, 2017
Justin Bieber just messaged the gym that I work at and asked who I was hahahaha WTF pic.twitter.com/mktcdB1iDP
Don't get me wrong, Jessica is a very pretty girl, but Bieber — seriously? I feel like there's an underlying sense of entitlement at play here. Like, "Oh, I'm Justin-Freaking-Bieber, I can message any small business I want to hit on their employees!!" No, Biebs, you can't, and as it turns out, Jessica wasn't having it. Yahoo continued —
"I didn’t post the pictures of my boyfriend and because I thought that Justin Bieber wanted to ‘get with me,’ ' she told Buzzfeed. 'I posted them in response to everyone commenting that I ‘ruined my chances with Justin by tweeting the screenshots.’ Either way I didn’t want a ‘chance’ because I am perfectly happy with my boyfriend.”
