There have been plenty of times in my life when I just wanted to reach through the drive-thru window of a fast food place and remind the person working that there's a reason why it's called "fast food," and that I had been waiting way too long for a friggin' burger and fries. However, I'm a civilized human being and wouldn't do such a thing.
Unfortunately, a 33-year-old Ohio woman named Mary Jordan isn't, because she's accused of assaulting a McDonald's employee because the person wasn't working fast enough, per USA Today.
Mary Jordan, 33, of Sandusky, Ohio, was on probation after serving a 20-month prison term received in March 2014 for two counts of complicity to commit forgery when she was arrested in connection with the June 8 McDonald's assault.
Jordan and two other Sandusky women, Ashley England 29, and Sammie Whaley, 31, allegedly attacked the Bellevue McDonald's employee at 1:48 p.m. ET June 8 because the employee was working too slowly on their orders, according to the Bellevue Police Department. Police allege the three women waited for the worker to leave her shift at the restaurant and then attacked her in the parking lot.
The McDonald's worker was injured, but the restaurant's owner and operator, Tom Humbard, said in June that she was getting better.
So, let me get this straight, not only was this Mary Jordan lady psycho for going mental on a Mickey D's worker, but she was already on probation for an unrelated crime? Interesting life choices, Mary.
And to prove she had zero sympathy for the events, take a look at Mary's mugshot after the McDonald's incident:
Assault and child endangerment charges are still pending against Jordan and her friend, Ashley England, in connection with the June 8 incident.
