We all know that drinking and driving is always a dumb decision for so many reasons. And while it's expected that people are responsible enough not to test their luck—which all of us should be—way too often, people refuse to do the right thing.
Not Paula Grzelak-Schultz of Sherwood Park, Canada, though, because, after leaving her car overnight in the parking lot of a restaurant called "Original Joes," she found a note that rewarded her for making the right choice for finding an alternate ride home the night prior, per Mashable.
As it turns out, one of the Managing Partners of the joint, Jay McLean, left her a note thanking her for not driving, even telling her that she'll get one-pound of their famous chicken rings as a gift. Talk about cool.
Said Grzelak-Schultz, via Mashable, "When I found the letter on my windshield, I thought I was getting in trouble for leaving my car in front of the entryway to the pub." As one would expect, she said in her Facebook post that she would definitely be back to take McLean up on his generous offer.
Great job all around, guys.
