Nobody can deny that Margot Robbie's film career has absolutely sky-rocketed over the past few years. Between The Wolf of Wall Street, Suicide Squad and of course, I, Tonya — which earned Robbie a Best Actress nomination at the Ocsars — Robbie has become a force to be reckoned with in Hollywood. Today, we've got the first teaser trailer for her upcoming film, Terminal, and we've got to say, her voice alone was enough to send a chill down our spines.
The movie, directed by Vaughn Stein, is described as following the story of "two assassins with a sinister mission, a fatally ill teacher, an enigmatic janitor, and a waitress with a double life. Murderous consequences unravel as their lives meet at the hands of a criminal mastermind wanting revenge." Take a look below:
Even if audiences are only privy to Robbie's heels and voice in this teaser trailer, it's clear her performance is going to rival that of even Harley Quinn. Terminal is loosely based off of Lewis Carroll's Alice in Wonderland and Robbie, who plays a character named Annie, is set to channel the Mad Hatter.
Her quote throughout the teaser echoes the 2010 Disney adaptation of Alice in Wonderland, ending on the infamous line, "Some say to survive it, you need to be as mad as a hatter. Which luckily, I am." Man, we can't wait to see this movie. Do we smell another Oscar nomination for Robbie? We think so.
Terminal is set to be released on May 11, 2018. It will also be starring Simon Pegg and Mike Myers.
