This $2.72 Million Mercedes-AMG Project ONE Show Car Makes The Batmobile Look Like A Tonka Truck

I would hope ya'll know enough about to cars to understand how HUGE this Mercedes-Benz announcement is. No? Eh, don't feel bad — I didn't either. It's my job to do the research and it's your job to read. Think of it as a nerd/jock relationship. Anyway, generally speaking F1 vehicles are intended for racing — you know, Fast and The Furious type sh*t or more accurately, legitimate races like the Grand Prix.

This car is road car, meaning technically normal folks like you and I could own it! Of course, you'd have to have some FAT pockets. I'm talking Conor McGregor FAT pockets, as the car will actually cost upwards of 3 million dollars, permitting you want to round up.

"Since the birth of Formula 1, engineers have been dreaming of bringing the supreme technology to the streets. Following three FIA Formula 1 World Drivers’ Championships and three FIA Formula One World Constructors’ Championships in succession, this dream is now a reality. The two-seater Mercedes-AMG Project ONE will transfer the latest and most efficient Formula 1 hybrid technology almost one to one from the track to the street for the first time. The performance hybrid will produce over 1,000 horsepower at a maximum speed of over 350 km/h. The Mercedes-AMG Project ONE will combine stunning racetrack performance and practical Formula 1 hybrid technology with exemplary efficiency. It is not just a tribute to our success in motorsports, but also a strong statement on our way to the ‘Future of Driving Performance’."
