About a month ago, we dropped an article about the new Nokia flagship phone, The Nokia 8, hitting stores. Well, Gents the highly-anticipated phone has finally arrived. I mean, as far as waiting for a new smartphone is concerned, a month is a pretty fast turnaround. Take the iPhone 8, for example — we should be seeing those around 2020 at this, amirite? Apple, are you listening? Get it together, my dudes.
Honestly, I'm not surprised that this Nokia phone is rumored to be the shit. My first cellphone ever was a Nokia and that bad boy was virtually indestructible. To be fair, I was in seventh-grade and didn't frequent bars every weekend — whereupon I drop my phone religiously on pavement (or in toilets, if I've drank tequila). Anyway, that little proud anecdote aside, according to Forbes, there's a multitude of kickass features worth highlighting —
"The forward facing camera is the same module as the main camera on the rear - both offer 13 megapixel images but only the rear camera has optical image stabilizing while the second camera at the rear is a black and white camera which will be used to pick out more detail and capture more light to create the digital image"
"OZO audio which allows the Nokia 8 to capture immersive sound in such a way that sound played back through stereo speaks will allow the brain to place the sound in the correct location."
The majority of the allure with this smartphone is the ability for users to create content flawlessly — and let's face it, regardless of whether you do that professionally or not, isn't that the targeted purpose for smartphones nowadays — snapping photos, taking videos, recording and things of the like? I for one find more and more reasons to switch from team iPhone everyday, just sayin'.
