Starting today, March 26, 2018, the Red Lobster menu is about to get a whole lot more delicious. Taking a spin off the classic chicken and waffles, Red Lobster has unveiled lobster and cheddar bay biscuit waffles. Needless to say, our summer 2018 diets have come to a screeching halt. Why, you ask? Well, the drool-worthy dish clocks in at a whopping 1080 calories.
As described on the Red Lobster official website, "Our signature Cheddar Bay waffle is topped with a crispy buttermilk battered split Maine lobster tail then drizzled with sweet maple syrup." Man, that sounds like perfection. You can take a look at their post from Instagram below.
The lobster and waffles are listed on the website under "specials", which stands to reason that they won't be available on the menu forever. Our advice? Get to a Red Lobster near you ASAP. Of course, with #LobsterFest going on as we speak, there's sure to be a wait. If nothing else, Americans love their all you can eat.
Other notable menu items include Lobster and Truffle Macaroni and Cheese, Petite Red Lobster Roll and Fries and Seaport Lobster and Shrimp. Of course, we can't forget the cocktails like the new Tropical White Sangria and the Lobster Lover's Punch. It may not be fine-dining, but, hey! Sometimes it's nice to just kick-back and eat as many Cheddar Bay biscuits as your heart desires. You can worry about your waistline another time.
