Robert De Niro and Al Pacino are perhaps two of the most legendary actors in all of Hollywood. From Righteous Kill and Heat to of course, The God Father Part II, they make one hell of a pair. That's why when we heard Martin Scorcese would be directing a new gangster flick called The Irishman starring the two men, well, we were excited AF. The bad news? It won't be hitting theaters until 2019. Bummer, right?

That doesn't mean the internet won't be all over the latest updates until then and of course, that's what we've got here for you today. In the images below, you can see both men dressed in their usual gangster attire, reminiscent of the very genre that made them famous.

In addition to these two heavy-hitters, the film will also be featuring Joe Pesci, Bobby Cannavale, Ray Romano, and Jesse Plemons (of the Breaking Bad fame). According to JOE Netflix put a staggering 105 million into the project. With a budget like that, we just know this is going to be a movie for the ages. Speaking with The Independent Scorcese explains why The Irishman is different from the other films he's made:

"This is different, I think it is. I admit that there are – you know, ‘Goodfellas’ and ‘Casino‘ have a certain style that I created for them – it’s on the page in the script actually. Putting Goodfellas together was almost like an afterthought, at times I was kind of rushing, I felt I’d already done it because I’d played it all out in terms of the camera moves and the editing and that sort of thing. The style of the picture, the cuts, the freeze-frames, all of this was planned way in advance, but here it’s a little different.”

Well, guys, we're pretty freakin' excited for this movie and in the mean time, we'll just have to rewatch all of our favorite gangster classics to prepare.
