We'd love to sit here and say that life is one big party, but, a las, the older you get the more important certain skills for men become. By the age of 21, there's not a whole lot you can't legally do — you can drink, join the army, vote, rent a hotel room — you can't rent a car, but, hey! That's just one of those weird American things that makes absolutely no sense. Given the amount of opportunities afforded to men of a certain age, we thought it best to school you guys on the ins and outs of what you should know by 21.
Now, remember, these skills are more of a marathon than a sprint. We don't expect that you'll become a financial, cooking, cleaning, and communications wizard six months after your twenty-first birthday, but we do expect, that at the very least, you recognize that it's time to cut the parental cord and handle some sht on your own. Thanks to some very candid (and wise) *reddit** users, we were able to pull some top notch life advice to relay to y'all. Good luck!

OK, we'll go ahead and wrap things up. We don't want to overwhelm you guys. Our key piece of advice? Life's short — be sure to learn how to maintain balance between your work and social life. Responsibilities are necessary evil, but that doesn't mean you have to drown in them all day, every day.
