I'm not afraid of clowns, not even a little bit. My particular aversion to this whole haunted house thing is a Pennywise-specific fear. Have you guys seen the trailers for It? I peed a little — no joke, no shame, just keepin' it real. It looks TERRIFYING and frankly, I'm at an age where life is scary enough. I don't need to add unnecessary fuel to the fire, ya know what I mean? Well, it seems not everyone shares in my sentiment, because not only is this God-forsaken movie coming out in September, they've now opened a haunted inspired by the movie. Yeah, I'm going to go ahead and give that a HARD PASS. According to UPROXXX—
"Dubbed 'The IT Experience,' a Hollywood & Vine version of the Neibolt House (from King’s novel and the subsequent TV miniseries) is greeting guests from August 14 to September 10. Promising jump scares and holographic horrors galore, entrants are required to sign a waiver and be 18 years of age."
18 years old? That's it? You can't drink a f'in beer in this country at 18, but you can willingly sign up to have your insides scrambled from fear? Oh yeah, I mean I guess that's what the military is sometimes. Anyway, besides the point. You couldn't PAY ME to walk within 100-miles of this place. I'm just happy I live on The East Coast and none of my sadistic friends can so much as attempt to drag me there.
