I'm a FIRM believer in the notion that unless you pay your own phone bill, you aren't an adult. To be fair, I give my Mother money every month so, yeah, THAT COUNTS. I'm an adult, get at me! Anyway, let's continue — most people I know have either Verizon or AT&T. I know a few Sprint people, but that's about the extent of my carrier knowledge. T-Mobile is never really on my radar...with the exception of their commercials being catchy every now and again. Well, that's allllllll about to change because these cellphone saints have seriously changed the game. According to Engadget—
"If you have a T-Mobile One family plan (that is, two or more lines), you now get a standard two-stream Netflix subscription for free. It'll cover both new and existing Netflix viewers, and you can apply the credit toward a more advanced Netflix tier if everyone in your clan wants to watch at the same time."
Why aren't more companies offering this promotion? Granted, Netflix isn't that expensive, but in retrospect that sht adds up. Plus, it's annoying to have to constantly be the responsible person who actually pays for their Netflix versus being the immature leech. Give me all-in-one or give me death! Of course, there's a few catches. *Engadget continues —
You need to be on a One plan, of course, so your grandfathered plan won't cut it.
Netflix streaming on cellular still defaults to 480p — you need to enable higher quality yourself.
