BEWARE: The Amount Of Data Tinder Gathers On Its Users Is Some Next Level 'Big Brother' Sh*t

We've heard the same siren call countless times — "Be careful what information you put on the internet." Of course, most of us completely ignore this warning, putting everything from our social security number to our blood type out there for the whole world to see. We're rebellious millennials, what can we say?

Well, perhaps after you see just HOW MUCH information popular downloads like the tinder app have on y'all, you'll start singing a different tune (although, we doubt it).

A very brave journalist working for The Guardian, Judith Duportail, requested her data from Tinder — what she received was scary enough to send a shiver down freakin' Cersei Lannister's cold-hearted spine.

"The dating app has 800 pages of information on me, and probably on you too if you are also one of its 50 million users. In March I asked Tinder to grant me access to my personal data. Every European citizen is allowed to do so under EU data protection law, yet very few actually do, according to Tinder."

Okay, let's break break that down real quick. 800 pages?! That's madness. We're not talking about some high-level personnel either, we're talking about an average person! Additionally, perhaps the reason people don't request their data is because they don't know they can!! Tinder should make that sh*t common knowledge. The information included, but wasn't limited to:

"Some 800 pages came back containing information such as my Facebook “likes”, my photos from Instagram (even after I deleted the associated account), my education, the age-rank of men I was interested in, how many times I connected, when and where every online conversation with every single one of my matches happened … the list goes on."

Let this be a warning to all of you lonely souls out there just looking for a little love and affection — big brother is most definitely watching.
